Central Sleep Apnea is caused by trauma. Eliminate it in 5-8 sessions. No more CPAP, jaw device, surgery or pain!.

Central Sleep Apnea Solution

The traumas that cause Central Apnea can be physical or emotional and often are caused by childhood abuse, car accidents, near-drowning events, being caught in a hurricane or tornado and being “scared to death”.

You have found the world’s authority on resolving trauma-based central sleep apnea.  Dr. Drewry will help you clear it in 5-8 sessions over three months. If you have EVER experienced a life-threatening event where you thought you were going to die – and you are not seriously overweight it is 90% probable that you have Central Apnea. Dr. Drewry believes there are millions of people who have Central Nervous System Sleep Apnea caused by traumatizing events where they thought they were going to die. The solution lies in resolving the memories of traumatizing events that replay during sleep – below the level of conscious awareness.

There is a global misunderstanding in medical and public awareness of apnea.

There are two types: Obstructive Apnea means the airway is blocked by collapsing tissues. Central Sleep Apnea happens when the nervous system fails to signal the body to breathe. As of 2019 the latest clinical evidence shows Central Sleep Apnea is caused by the lingering memories from traumatizing events that replay in your sleep without your conscious awareness, and YOUR SLEEP DOCTOR DOES NOT KNOW THIS!

Central Apnea can be stopped when it is caused by lingering effects of traumatizing events!

There is no mystery here and no gimmicks:  when the traumatic memories are addressed, the sleep apnea is gone. This is the sleep apnea solution: clear the trauma, stop the apnea and the snoring, and get rid of your CPAP.  Medical Disclaimer: This assumes you don’t have any of the other 4 causes of Central Sleep Apnea. They are: Cheyenne-Stokes, High-Altitude, Medical Condition, and Drug-Induced.

Trauma-based Central Apnea belongs in the “idiopathic” cause category. Idiopathic means “unknown” – now we know millions of people have Central Apnea caused by trauma.  Many are misdiagnosed, and many others are overlooked. Combat veterans fall into both of those categories and the VA needs to do better by our Veterans.  Until then – I am a ONE persistent voice with a solution that takes about 3 months and 5-8 sessions with a lot of support in between.

Memories from traumatizing events can run your life - subconsciously

This discovery makes complete sense, but it has not yet been widely publicized.  Read the Research here.  You can see video testimonials HERE.  The  good news is you can get beyond sleep apnea quickly and painlessly with the central nervous system apnea solution developed over the last ten years.

Man wearing CPAP with a stop sign on itDon’t be fooled by an Obstructive Apnea diagnosis:

You may be heavy because you have been too exhausted to exercise for many years – possibly since childhood. See Steve’s video testimonial below.  Spend $99 on a consultation and a sleep apnea inventory and find out … what happened to you to make you stop breathing!  If you are using a CPAP that is probably what you would spend per month on supplies!

In short, the entire world seems to believe that sleep apnea is:
Always obstructive (OSA) – this is not true

  • Hereditary – this is not true because it is environmental. If parents are abused as children, they usually abuse their children too.
  • Always caused by being overweight or having a thick neck – this is not always true although it appears to make sense.  See Steve’s Video further down on this page

In fact, many children have central nervous system sleep apnea but are overlooked. The same is true for physically fit women and men, especially combat veterans who have trauma-based CENTRAL SLEEP APNEA.  Why?  Because they don’t fit the stereotype for Obstructive Apnea:  overweight, middle-aged male. The key to eliminating Central Apnea lies in reframing decisions made during traumatizing events.

  3.  Have you been caught in a tornado, hurricane, earthquake or witnessed an event like 9/11?

Central Sleep Apnea can be cleared by resolving the traumatizing events that caused it!

In 2008 Dr. Damaris Drewry worked with her first sleep apnea client using her Beyond Talk Therapy® method which includes her knowledge, 30 years of experience, intuitive gifts, EMDR, and Emotional Freedom Techniques™ created by Gary Craig. She has proven by working with over 200 sleep apnea clients, that Central Sleep Apnea is often caused by specific traumatizing events that can be reframed. Decisions made during traumatizing events are usually false but the body believes they are true until you reframe the event and the meaning given to it at the time it happened.

Steve K. first central apnea client 2008Her first apnea client, Steve talks about his (2008) experience in the video below. As of 2014 he was still free of sleep apnea. He was diagnosed with obstructive apnea but it was actually central nervous system apnea caused by a traumatic near-drowning event at age 6.  It’s really interesting that he did fit the stereotype for Obstructive Apnea:  a middle-aged male who is overweight. He was overweight because he was too tired to exercise – an experience many people with apnea share. After ridding himself of the residual trauma along with his Central Sleep Apnea he began swimming and exercising again and was able to lose weight.
